In today's fast-paced world you can still find the
old-time art of soap making at the Cedar House
Soap Shop. We take pride in knowing that we
have developed a favorite House recipe that we
can be proud of, and is made locally right here
in Priest River, Idaho.
We began producing our fine handcrafted soaps
from the heart of our home in 2000 with nothing
more than a spark of creativity and the incredible
desire to stay at home and raise our children.
Cedar House Soaps soon began to outgrow the
confines of our small kitchen production as the
demand for more was evident. With determination,
passion for the craft, and a whole lot of love from
friends and family, we moved production to our current location at the Soap Shop and haven't looked back since.
We are proud to say that all of our soaps are created with the time-honored tradition of Cold Process soapmaking...one small batch at a time with our own unique blend of top quality ingredients!
Every batch is attentively measured, poured, cut, cured, trimmed and wrapped all by hand. Our bars are allowed to cure for four weeks resulting in a milder, longer lasting bar!
